ATLANTA, February 5, 2007 – Deborah Sawyer, a senior partner with the executive search firm Morgan Howard, has placed Dipu Pramanik, Ph.D. as Vice President, Design for Back-End Manufacturability at Cadence Design Systems, Inc. As Vice President, Design for Back-End Manufacturability, Dr. Pramanik directs an organization of over 200 engineers across multiple geographic sites worldwide, driving development of corporate DFM strategy, new product development and support of Cadence’s product lines. Prior to joining Cadence, Dr. Pramanik was Group Director of Research and Development, TCAD, for Synopsys. He has published numerous articles and holds 36 patents for his work.
